Down and Francis is a long established Company, registered 1946, and a founder member of the Metalrax Group of Companies. Metalrax Group PLC being formed in 1964.

We pride ourselves in our technical support for Design and Build projects, employing both design and detail draughting personnel, which may be supplemented by, proven, Sub-Contract Draughting Companies.We have two Computer Aided Design stations in our Drawing Office using 3-dimensional modelling with Tekla Structures (formerly XSteel) software, and a C.N.C. drilling machine in our works.

Our loyal team of employees have many years experience with the company and bring those experiences to all of our projects, and with previous projects ranging from a few hundred to ten million pounds we have a proven track record.

All our site managers and engineers have been trained to work to CDM Regulations.
